Tuesday will start off with a bit of a chill as the clouds that helped keep Monday cool depart east, giving sunshine plenty of space to warm the Wiregrass well into the 70s. Midweek will remain more seasonable as drier, cooler air continues to filter in from the Northeast. Highs will cross back into the 80s by Friday while significant rain chances avoid the region entirely.

Pleasant days will continue for a period as temperatures and humidity rapidly rise into midweek, ahead of the Wiregrass’ next big rain chance. A linear round of showers and thunderstorms will likely speed through within the AM hours on Thursday, knocking temperatures down briefly while the region retains enough moisture for isolated showers and thunderstorms this weekend.

While the farm is only in its fifth year, Alicia is amazed by the life it's given her.

Southerly flow will keep the Wiregrass drenched in moisture through the days ahead, providing more warm and humid nights and mostly wet afternoons. High temperatures will continue hovering in the mid-80s as scattered showers and thunderstorms keep them cooler than normal. Rain chances will slowly weaken into next week.

The NWS office told News4 on Thursday that the rating could change as the damage from the collapsed home remains under review.

After hosting likely record-breaking lows in the 50s Thursday morning, the Wiregrass will settle in for rising temperatures through the rest of the week, especially as mostly sunny skies remain dominant. Highs will close in on the 90s this weekend as humidity creeps back in, supporting low-end rain chances well into next week.
