Much colder air comes in for the New Year, with scattered snow showers Wednesday. Temperatures will be stuck in the 30s much of the day, with wind chills in the 20s. There will be some sticking snow, especially in the mountains during the day. A light coating of snow is possible in the Pittsburgh area tonight. Several inches are likely in the mountains through Thursday morning.
