Dr. Michael Nelson, a retired senior mining consultant at Stantec Engineering who worked in the mining industry for Kennecott Copper, Consolidation Coal and EIMCO Process Equipment Co., will give a free presentation, “Is it Silver Creek or Poison Creek—Dealing with Mine Tailings in Park City” at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center, 2079 Sidewinder Drive.
