COLUMBIA, S.C. — Back-to-back shootings at Colony Apartments on Monday and Tuesday have left one person dead and others injured, leaving residents concerned for their safety.

During the Monday, January 13 board meeting, Sharon Mayor Donna Stricklin informed the board about the need for assistance with CMFO (Certified Municipal Finance Officer) work to get the current year caught up.

On January 16 Aftyn Behn, House Representative for District 51 and London Lamar, Senator representing district 33, filed the Reproductive Freedom Act which was introduced on January 16 and passed on first consideration.
