Austin American-Statesman Construction has launched on an apartment complex in southeastern Travis County that will bring 328 units to the rapidly growing area.

An indoor venue is planned for the first phase of River Park in Southeast Austin, surrounded by apartments, retail space and a 1.2-acre public park.

There's no word yet on when the 65,000-square-foot venue would start. It would be part of a large mixed-use project planned along East Riverside Drive
