A long-awaited hotel has debuted in Fort Worth: Bowie House, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection portfolio, is now open at 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd., with a chophouse-style restaurant and hundreds of pieces of art.

The big splashy theme park coming to Frisco has a name and identity: Called Universal Kids Resort, it's from Universal Destinations & Experiences, a division of Comcast NBCUniversal, and is the company's first-ever theme park designed specifically for families with young children.

A major park long in the works for Dallas has shifted its location to a more stable setting: Harold Simmons Park, the 250-acre park centered around the Trinity River, wil now be situated on a parcel of land that's west of the floodway, rather than in the river bed itself.

A grand new golf course is being plotted for Fort Worth. Called Kelly Ranch Golf Club, it's the latest project from Fort Worth-based Escalante Golf, which owns and operates golf courses and private clubs.

Construction has begun on a massive mixed-use development in the Knox Street neighborhood that will include a hotel, office, residential, restaurants, and retail.

A new coworking space is now open in Flower Mound: Called Success Space, it's at 6050 Long Prairie Rd. #100 in a former dentist office, and is part of Success Enterprises, which also publishes Success magazine, founded in 1897 by achievement philosopher Orison Swett Marden.
