Deneen Simpkins Terry was born July 22, 1964, to the late Ethel Bell Harrington Simpkins and Joe Louis Antoine Sr., she accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the Mt. Chapel Baptist Church in Waveland, MS. Deneen graduated from Bay High School in Bay St. Louis, MS., in 1983. She worked different jobs in the Hancock area before moving to St. Paul in 1993. After arriving in St. Paul Deneen began looking for her church home and found her place at True Spirit Ministries. Once settling in Minnesota, she married the late Michael “Tiger” Terry and found a fulfilling career at United Hospital for over 25 years until retirement.

Michael John Gremillion, 73, of Ansley, passed away on December 23, 2024. Beloved and treasured husband of Tracey S. Gremillion. Born in Nashville, TN to the late Esmond B. Gremillion and late Margaret Gremillion.

Bertrand Olavides Sy, MD, 78, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, was born January 14, 1946 to Praxedes and Sabina Sy. He passed away January 3, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Laura Goldman peacefully departed this earthly life on January 7, at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis, following a lengthy illness. She was 99 years old.
