Large law firms appear to be keeping their heads down for now, not looking to make waves with the incoming administration.

Advising political appointees is significant business for the select few who do this work routinely, including from firms Covington & Burling and Holland & Knight.

The lateral hires landed in firms' litigation, infrastructure and government relations departments, among others.
