Thomas Bosworth, who started his own firm after his contentious split with Kline & Specter, requested that the court put him next in line to bring his Roundup case before a Philadelphia jury.

While the lawsuit is new, Terrance DeAngelo's claims echo many of the allegations made against Kline & Specter in the firm's heated dispute with another of its former associates, Thomas Bosworth.

“K&S is the only party who has breached the settlement agreement,” Thomas Bosworth alleged. He asked the court to award him attorney fees relating to the firm's motion, which he claimed “was brought in bad faith and with an intent to injure Bosworth financially.”

The justices are slated to consider 12 matters between Tuesday and Wednesday, dealing with issues including the scope of immunity for mental health care providers and workers' compensation coverage for nonprescription substances like CBD oil.

“If it became the law that an employee may bring a wrongful discharge claim pursuant to the public policy exception to the at will employment doctrine merely by referring to generalized pronouncements about community interests offered by the General Assembly, the exception would soon swallow the rule,” the court ruled.

The case is one of scores of lawsuits filed across the country alleging defects in the the Sig Sauer P320 cause the gun to unintentionally fire.

The severity of the discipline was in part a response to Lento's testimony that he used a “pragmatic” approach to the practice of law in which “certain things may not be done as may be required.”
