It's hard to believe we drove the current C8 Corvette when it debuted almost four years ago. Although it looked less Corvette-ish than the C7 that it replaced, the C8 had the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 ever put into a production car. It was also mid-engined for the first time. Now, the biggest follow-up to that is the new Corvette ZR1, which packs twin turbos and a mindblowing and pavement-ripping 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of twist. Oh, and then there's that colossal rear wing.
