HARVEST – Stephanie Plummer of Harvest continues to prove what she stated, “I can do anything I set my mind to.” The 40-year old City of Huntsville Schools teacher recently traveled to Calhoun, Ga. and came away with the first-place trophy in the Northwest Georgia Strongest Man/Woman competition.

MADISON – Tim Coleman is regarded as one of the top high school football players in Alabama and has been ranked the No. 1 long snapper in the state and among the top 25 in the U.S. There are several organizations and those assisting those endeavors who know Coleman to be more than an athlete who plays a high caliber style of football. They know first-hand he is a giving teenager who thinks more of others than himself.

MADISON – Members of Bob Jones, James Clemens and Madison Academy football teams have been recognized for their outstanding play in 2024 by being named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State Football Teams.

HUNTSVILLE – The 2024 Rocket City Marathon will forever be remembered for the scattered showers, 50-degree temperature and gusty winds, as high as 30-miles per hour, but for those 1,183 finishers, their personal memories brought sunshine to another spectacular event hosted by the Huntsville Track Club and the Huntsville Sports Commission.

HUNTSVILLE – The 2024 Huntsville City Classic basketball tournament was supposed to be just another showcase of superior talent by the host team Huntsville Crimson Panthers, the No. 2 ranked team in Class 7A and No. 16 team nationally as the squad was defending champion heading into the 42nd annual event held on the Huntsville school campus.

HUNTSVILLE – Heading into the second-round matchup versus Enterprise in the 42nd annual Huntsville City Classic, Bob Jones senior center/forward Kaden Rickard needed 9-points to reach among the elite high school players to score 1,000 points in a playing career.

MADISON – Soon after celebrating his tenth birthday, Ryan Keepers began playing both football and wrestling and quickly showcased his talents in both sports. He progressed through his teens by becoming a state champion wrestler and award winning football player at James Clemens High. All along his athletic journey Keepers searched for what more he can achieve and what he considered a purpose.

MADISON – Two-time Class 7A Player of the Year Kennedy Vaughn has added another top accolade to her already bountiful trophy case. The senior at Bob Jones has been named the 2024 Gatorade Alabama Player of the Year.

MADISON – Monica Maxwell's odyssey in basketball, first as a player and now as head coach, has become one of huge success, a bevy of difficult decisions and the battles within herself to build on what she considers to be a long-term relationship as a career. In her fourth season as head coach of the James Clemens Lady Jets' program, she has the burning desire and strict commitment to mold her program like what she experienced as a player at Sparkman High in the early years of the 21st Century.

MADISON – Runners as athletes are dedicated to their sport and their devotion to enjoy their outings comes from professional guided training programs which mold an athlete and properly prep each of those in a healthy manner. The numerous running races in the new year can be properly attacked by going through an array of programs setup by Fleet Feet of Huntsville-Madison, which are designed to assist each runner and escort each athlete to achieve their goal of success.
