Wicked: For Good is the epic conclusion to last year’s hit musical that gives a new and different perspective to the “witches” from The Wizard of Oz. This may sound cheesy and unoriginal, but it is true that Wicked: For Good is wonderful. The music is amazing and catchy, the visuals are awe inspiring, the actors are fantastic, and the story elicits a wide range of emotional responses. This movie shows the powerful, harmful effects of mis/disinformation that turned an otherwise decent person into the “wicked” villain that many of us probably grew up watching. If you love the first part (or the original Wizard of Oz) and musicals in general, you will probably enjoy this movie as well.

Five Night’s at Freddy’s 2 is, obviously, the sequel to the 2023 supernatural horror movie which is based on the popular video game series, picking up the first movie’s story about a year later after the legend has spread creating a themed festival. The movie has some great visual effects and effective, albeit cliché and predictable, PG-13 horror elements. I enjoyed the movie and, with the way the film “ended”, I really hope they get to make this a trilogy (at least).

Just in time for Christmas, The Housemaid is a psychological thriller about mental illness, domestic violence, and how societal perceptions can be gravely mistaken. With a well-crafted twisting narrative, The Housemaid will keep the audience on the edge of their seats until the credits role. If you have read the book upon which this is based, going by the plot summary I read after watching the film, there will not be a lot of surprises, but it should still entertain. Either way, the movie is stunning, thrilling, and a fun roller coaster ride.
