Professional Services Automation (PSA) vendor Kantata is one of the busiest software companies lately especially when it comes to bringing advanced tech (e.g., agentic AI) to bear on long-standing service challenges/use cases. Their latest announcement, Expertise Engine™, brings four big, powerful AI-powered, net-new professional services applications to the market.
Some software shows are all about the vendor, the technology and/or the evening parties. Oracle’s AI World event certainly had many of the usual conference components but this event differed in that customer/prospect adoption of AI seems a fait accompli. This doesn’t mean that all customers/prospects will move as one. Prior technology waves may prove prescient in understanding the pace of future software uptake and what Oracle can expect.
A couple of HR software vendors are starting to grapple with the consequences of AI-enabled jobseekers. But, the solutions are almost non-existent at this time owing to the newness of the problem.
