In-store shopping has seen a resurgence, at least in early holiday data from firms including Sensormatic and RetailNext. At the same time, retail store employees are being asked to do much more, from filling online orders from store inventory to unlocking cases for shoppers to get even basic items as retailers try to deter or prevent theft. While consumers understand the need to secure inventory in some cases and like the option for online orders picked up in store, it doesn't mean they are happy with the traditional in-store experience that results from it. Bazaarvoice conducted a survey for CNBC asking consumers about their in-store experience during Black Friday weekend. Courtney Reagan reports on the findings.
