ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Yellow Alert Tuesday for heavy rain and thunder at times this morning. No widespread flooding is expected but be prepared for wet roads and big puddles so keep speeds down while driving. Heavy rain will taper to more scattered showers and thunderstorms into the late morning and afternoon hours. The day will not be a washout, but if outdoors, be ready for pop-up strong storms and downpours. Rainfall amounts overall do not appear to be excessive with total in the half inch to inch and a half range into tonight. Showers will continue into Wednesday, but the heavy rain threat should be well to our east so Threat Tracker will go back to green.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Grab the umbrella as you leave the house this morning. Areas of light rain and drizzle will slowly clear into the afternoon for some dry time. Cloudy and cool with a few scattered showers this afternoon, but not as wet as it is this morning. Temps in the 60s and low 70s. A few scattered showers overnight into tomorrow morning will clear during the day on Thursday. Partly sunny and 70s Thursday afternoon with a slight popup shower/storm threat in the hills south of Rochester. Looking much nicer to end the week Friday with sunshine and temps into the low 80s. No thunderstorms or heavy rain expected so Threat Tracker will be green next few days.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Cloudy and drizzly weather with some areas of rain Monday morning. Grab the umbrella heading out in the morning but should be able to put it away this afternoon as the weather will dry out and clear up later in the day. Much nicer on Tuesday with sunshine and pleasant weather. Sunny and warm for Wednesday with dry weather expected midweek for any outdoor plans. ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Enjoy the beautiful weather Tuesday. Nothing but sunshine ahead with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity, light winds. Weather looks great for any outdoor plans Tuesday afternoon and evening. Looking ahead to Wednesday the humidity starts to head up and so do the temps. Warmer and muggier conditions will linger into Thursday and Friday, and even the start of the weekend. With higher levels of humidity, the chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase as well later in the week with some local downpours possible. Threat Tracker is green next few days. ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Patchy fog Thursday morning will give way to some sunshine and fair weather clouds during the day. No heavy downpours in the forecast so Threat Tracker will be green next few days. Still a bit muggy but humidity levels will slowly drop into Friday and Saturday. Weather is looking good for the end of the week and start of the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny with temps in the 70s. Enjoy that as Sunday will bring an increasing threat for showers and thunderstorms. Saturday looks to be the pick of the weekend. ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Bright sunshine Friday morning will mix with a few puffy fair weather clouds into the afternoon. Temps will top out near 80 this afternoon with mainly dry weather. There is a very small pop-up shower threat late in the day but most of us stay dry. Fine weather continues into Friday evening and night. Fine weather for baseball, concerts and festivals. Looking ahead to the weekend some nice weather Saturday. Mostly sunny and mainly dry with lower humidity and temps in the mid and upper 70s. More humid weather returns Sunday with some showers and thunder. Threat Tracker is green with no heavy widespread storms expected Sunday. ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Threat Tracker has a new Yellow Alert for Saturday Evening and Night as a strong to severe thunder threat moves through the region. After a mainly fair day for outdoor plans keep an eye to the sky after 5-6PM and into tonight for approaching storms. Thunder may bring locally heavy rain, lightning, damaging wind gusts and hail. Storms will weaken and clear by midnight.

ROCHESTER, NY. – Tracking passing showers today. Not a rainout as there will be some decent dry time, but keep that umbrella handy, especially later this morning into the afternoon. No heavy rain or thunder expected so Threat Tracker will stay green. Breezy and cool for this time of the year with temperatures 10-15 degrees below normal in the 60s. Gusts around 20 mph are possible with changeable skies this afternoon. Like yesterday some rainbows may be seen once again.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Cloudy skies Tuesday morning with a few scattered showers through midday. Looking ahead to the afternoon some sunshine will develop as weather slowly improves through the day. Below normal temperatures once again, but a bit better than Monday. Tracking a breeze off the lake from the northwest 10-20mph. Nice weather this evening for the Red Wings game or any outdoor plans. Mainly clear and cool tonight with mostly sunny skies ahead for Wednesday and warmer in the 70s and 80s.
