ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Monday will bring lots of bright sunshine and a breeze off the lake. High temps today will be a little cooler than yesterday but very pleasant in the 60s. The breeze will be around 15mph form the northeast. Threat Tracker will be green with quiet conditions the next few days. Clear skies and a chill in the air tonight with lows well down into the 40s. Tuesday will bring more sunshine and warmer weather in the 70s. Wednesday through Friday look good with temps each day around 80 degrees.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Another beautiful day ahead once the morning chill goes away. Low temp at the Rochester Airport reached 44 degrees which was only 4 from the July 2nd, 1976 record of 40 degrees. Threat Tracker is green through the end of the week with sunny, warm afternoons and clear, cool nights ahead. Tuesday will bring lots of sunshine and temps into the low and mid 70s for a high. A breeze off the lake will keep it noticeably cooler near the water. If you are boating on Lake Ontario the water temp at the Port of Rochester is 53 degrees and after calm conditions this morning the lakebreeze will kick up a little chop on the water this afternoon.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Threat Tracker has a Yellow Alert on Saturday for a heads up on potential storms. It will not be a washout, but if you are out and about Saturday afternoon keep an eye to the sky for storms. Any thunder that moves through the region may bring heavy downpours, strong winds, lightning and small hail. The timing for storms will be between noon and 6PM from north to south. Greatest threat for severe weather will be in the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier. ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Wonderful start to the week. Bright sunshine, low humidity and warm weather Monday. Threat Tracker will be green. Top temps in the low 80s for most with a light lakebreeze keeping it cooler by the water. Tuesday will bring an increase in the humidity and also hotter weather with temps in the 80s to near 90 degrees. Along with the heat and humidity there will be a chance for an afternoon thunderstorm. Wednesday will bring a few showers and a local thunderstorm. Not a washout but be prepared for a few rounds of rain.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Nice sunshine Tuesday morning will fade behind building clouds in the afternoon. Temps will climb into the mid and upper 80s with increasing amounts of humidity. The dew point temperature starts around 60 degrees this morning. That’s a comfy level. As the dew point climbs to 70 degrees later this afternoon, we will notice the air becoming more humid. The muggier airmass will bring a better chance for some thunder later in the day with some heavy downpours possible. Keep an eye to the sky and have the umbrella handy into the evening hours. Threat Tracker will be green with no severe storms expected.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Threat Tracker is green to start the week as calm, cool and dry weather has arrived following the heavy rain and storms Sunday. Sunshine will mix with a few fair weather clouds. Temps below normal in the 60s to near 70 this afternoon with a brisk breeze off the lake. Nice weather tonight into much of Tuesday with a small afternoon shower chance tomorrow. Tuesday top temps will be warmer into the mid 70s. Morning shower on Wednesday then fair weather in the afternoon.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Threat Tracker is green but need to keep an eye on Thursday for some passing thunderstorms with downpours. Strong winds are possible on Thursday with gusts over 40mph. Will continue to look at new date into the afternoon and if the wind threat looks more likely we may need a Yellow Alert for tree and power issues Thursday.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Grab the umbrella as you head out with some steady rain on the way this morning. We may briefly see some locally moderate to heavy rain for a couple hours and then it will taper off this afternoon and dry out this evening. Rain totals will average a quarter to half an inch so no flooding is expected. Not anticipating any strong or severe storms. Wind will not be an issue with this system either so Threat Tracker will be green. It will also be a cool day for this time of the year with temps only in the mid 60s. Clearing skies overnight with sunshine back in the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Tracking Tuesday morning clouds clearing for sunshine and some wonderful weather ahead this afternoon. Temperatures will bounce back beautifully today into the low to mid 70s with dry conditions for outdoor plans. Great weather for the Jazz Festival this evening. Tracking more sunshine and warm weather for Wednesday with highs in the 70s to near 80. Threat Tracker will be green the next few days, but we do need to keep an eye on Thursday for the return of some rain and thunder.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Beautiful weather Wednesday with lots of sunshine, low humidity, and mild temperatures. Plan on highs today into the mid and upper 70s. Light winds from the north will keep it a little cooler near Lake Ontario. Increasing clouds tonight with showers increasing Thursday morning. Areas of rain and thunder into Thursday afternoon with cooler readings in the 60s and low 70s. Threat Tracker is green but keep an eye on Thursday thunder threat. A few gusty storms are possible but right now not looking at severe storms. If the chance for more damaging weather goes up an alert will be needed. A few lingering clouds and a shower into Friday will clear during the day with overall nice weather into the weekend.
