To borrow a phrase from the acting world, this year’s class of great restaurants showed range. There were celeb-sighting pasta dinners, colorful ceviches both Panamanian and Peruvian, and roasted ducks that took Thai Town by storm. Reservations are released four weeks in advance at midnight and get booked quickly, especially for parties larger than two. Seats at the bar are slightly less competitive, but you’re still going to need a reservation, so plan ahead.
