As 2-year-old home-care brand Homecourt inches closer to its third anniversary, intentionally expanding the brand is top of mind. On Monday, the company introduced a line of body care, which founder Courteney Cox called a natural next step.

On Friday, Glossy announced the latest speaker additions to its star-studded Beauty Pop event, taking place in L.A. on July 31. Joining the day-long event, which brings together industry insiders, is Lisa Rinna, who launched her beauty line, Rinna Beauty, in 2020. Model and Helsa founder Elsa Hosk will also be a featured speaker.

Since launching the sustainability-focused fashion brand Christy Dawn in 2014, co-founders and partners Aras and Christy Dawn Baskauskas have prioritized intentionality and ethical practices. Now, the brand is in expansion mode.

After 24 years, Ulta Beauty's private label, Ulta Beauty Collection, would like to reintroduce itself. The existing brand, which first launched in 2000, is slowly being replaced with updated packaging and products on its website and in its stores.

This summer, Beauty Pop will highlight brands using strategic influencer partnerships, buzzy product drops and community engagement to effectively resonate with consumers. Featured brands will include Ardell Beauty, Bondi Sands, Fenty, Grown Alchemist, Myavana and K18.

With the hair-care category claiming an increasingly larger stake in the beauty industry, many brands and retailers are seizing the moment, launching products and partnering with public figures to roll out collections. One such retailer capitalizing on the growing trend is Target. According to the brand, it has steadily gained market share in beauty for the last five years, seeing nearly 40% of guests shop its hair-care assortment.

Schwarzkopf Professional, a hair-care brand globally known for its professional color offerings, is one of the latest beauty players to enter the athlete partnership space. In July, the brand announced a partnership with multiple athletes for the relaunch of its Igora Vibrance Demi-Permanent Color, which rolls out in all Schwarzkopf Professional retailers this month.

There are a few contributors to the meteoric rise of blush, including buzzy product drops this year from Hailey Beiber's Rhode and clean beauty brand Saie. Of course, there is also the blush hype across social media tutorials and makeup lovers' infatuation with perfecting current beauty looks.
