Peter Greene (@palan57) — Peter is a teacher and education writer with a focus on education policy and reform. He continues to write for multiple other outlets.

Karim Abouelnaga (@KarimAbouelnaga) — Karim is the CEO and co-founder of Practice, a nonprofit organization that provides free, high-quality summer learning programs to low-income students. He focuses on improving access to education for all children, and speaks regularly on the topic. He is also a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the education category.

Mike Petrilli (@MichaelPetrilli) — Mike is the president of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, a think tank that focuses on education policy. He is a frequent commentator on education issues and is an Executive Editor at Education Next.

Peter DeWitt (@PeterMDeWitt) — Peter is an educator and author who writes about school leadership, teacher development, and education policy. Peter writes the Finding Common Ground column for Education Week. In 2020, DeWitt co-created Education Week’s A Seat At the Table where he moderates conversations with experts around the topics of race, gender, sexual orientation, research, trauma and many other educational topics.

Elizabeth Green (@elizwgreen) — Elizabeth is the co-founder and CEO of Chalkbeat, a nonprofit news organization that covers education news in local communities. She is also the author of Building a Better Teacher: How Teaching Works (and How to Teach It to Everyone).

Michael Horn (@michaelbhorn) — Michael is the co-founder of and a fellow at the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation, a non-profit think tank. Scott McLeod (@mcleod) — Scott is an education professor and writer who focuses on educational leadership and the use of technology in schools.
