The sandwich chain has moved to a more than 70,000 square feet in Tinton Falls, N.J., not far from the former base.

Jersey Mike’s is apparently getting a new headquarters. A New Jersey real estate company said Wednesday that the sandwich chain has leased more than 70,000-square feet of office space in Tinton Falls, which is about a 20-minute drive north of the current base in Manasquan, New Jersey. Jersey Mike’s, meanwhile, did not immediately respond to questions about details and the timing of the potential move.

The fast-casual chain hopes the airport unit will build brand awareness in Texas and demonstrate how the brand can perform in a small format.

Chagee is having some success in the U.S. The Chinese tea chain debuted here last year and now has nine locations. The company said that its early success in the ultra-competitive market bolsters its expansion outside its home country. Chagee operates more than 7,500 locations, most of which are in China. But it has started expanding aggressively in other global markets and believes that its premium position could give it a foothold in the U.S. and in other countries.
